Rebecca Formichella fosters a lifelong love of fine art and design. Compelled to create with whatever she has at hand, she grew up designing her own clothes and spent her formative years in art and sculpture studios. The day after earning her BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, Rebecca moved to New York City where she worked in the fashion industry before quickly going out on her own. A successful personal styling business gave way to interior design when a client entrusted her with a four story remodel in Venice Beach in 2013. This project awoke a new avenue for her creativity, and she began taking on more interior design work in New York, greeting each new project with the same enthusiasm and confidence. Studio Formichella built itself on Rebecca’s innate sense of inventiveness and an endless desire to create. Now, Rebecca uses what her clients say to craft the space they dream of, often realizing their vision before they can articulate it themselves.
